| He is a Chartered Engineer of India and UK. He graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from Benares Hindu University in1962 and later obtained post graduate qualification in production Engineering from UK. He has worked in Hindustan Aeronautics in various capacities in their Divisions of Bangalore and Nasik. |
| As the Chief Development Manager in the head office of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., he was responsible to modernize and set up the vacuum cast Investment casting facility at their Koraput Division. He has carried out extensive R&D Work in the field of Investment Castings and have published number of papers in many international journals and conferences. Under his guidance, the first Investment casting, in Magnesium alloy, was produced in our country. |
During his work experience, he has interacted with most of the Investment Casting foundries in India namely IPCL, Kanthal, Omnicast etc., To conclude the author is a scientist, engineer, material specialist, aerospace designer, trainer and a manager who has an extensive experience of 50 years. His competence and knowledge is bountifully brought in the Defect control Instructor.
